Donald Trump sure knows how to pick them. In an effort to save his once cancelled show, Trump is doing a “Celebrity” Apprentice. According to a New York Page Six column, Trump is after tabloid girls Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. Trump was quoted as saying “We’re not sure what will happen. She [Britney] is a (bleep)ing mess. And that little reality show she had did nothing. But she likes the idea of being on television and I think she’d be great.” Apparently they have yet to contact Lohan about appearing on the show because of that little inconvenience known as rehab. If Trump can pull it off, he has a hit on his hands. Can you see these three attempting to co-operate in a challenge?

Paris Hilton and Kid Rock

I’ve often wondered how Kid Rock is able to do what he does. Here’s an average, maybe even below average looking guy who gets some extremely beautiful females in his life. There was Pamela Anderson and now Paris Hilton. Hilton, pictured here with Pauly Shore, were recently photographed having some fun on Malibu Beach. At one point the two excused themselves and didn’t reappear for a couple of hours. I guess it proves that Rock Stars get all the girls.

Was doing a bit of surfing this morning and ran into this amazing picture of Jessica Alba. It looks like she’s at a county fair or carnival and wearing some very nice, skin tight jeans. They highlight one of her best assets, that’s for sure. Recently we posted about Jessica’s mathematically correct perfectly sexy sway and you can definitely see proof that she has some fantastic measurements. But did you know that Jessica took acting lessons from William H Macy and his wife Felicity Huffman out of high school? Apparently Felicity was very hard on the aspiring actress. It seems that the Desperate Housewives star didn’t deter Jessica from continuing on with her acting career… thank goodness for that!

A happy belated birthday to kitchen goddess, Rachel Ray. She turned 39 on August 25th. It’s been quite a year for Rachel. Her cookbooks are selling more than ever, the viewing audience for her television show has steadily increased and she’s become an unlikely sex symbol with a photo shoot in FHM. But there has been some negative in the life of this charming food personality. As we mentioned before Rachel’s hubby is in a bit of a sex scandal. Earlier this year it was rumoured that Rachel got a bit tipsy and dissed talk show icon Oprah and that the comments were a bit racy. In any case, these haven’t affected her popularity. Wish we could see Ms. Ray in her birthday suit!

Jessica Simpson has something to be envious about. Cameron Diaz and Simpson’s ex-boyfriend John Mayer have been dating and apparently it hasn’t been sitting well with the Dukes of Hazzard star. Jessica dated Mayer for nine months after her split with ex-husband Nick Lachey but the two went their seperate ways in May of this year. Can you imagine the catfight that might ensure as Daisy Duke takes on the Charlie’s Angel? I was also reading that sister Ashlee Simpson is planning a new talk show for a US network and wanted her sister to co-host. As it turns out the producers are suggesting a monkey instead. Shows some people still have their sense of humor.

Mena Suvari Naked In The Bathtub (and something about scarves)

Mena Suvari, the beautiful actress who rose to fame from her roles in American Pie and American Beauty, will be featured in a limited edition scarves from Echo Design. Suvari’s photography will be featured on the silk scarves and a portion of the proceeds will be dontaed to the Natural Resources Defense Council. The internet is brewing about Mena’s choice of roles lately. Mandy Moore even commented on her recent “bimbo” roles. The question constantly being asked is why such a talented actress isn’t a bit more selective about the roles she takes on. I don’t think I will ever forget Mena naked in the bathtub in American Beauty.

If it wasn’t for Winona Ryder’s dad, Johnny Depp and Winona may have been married. The former couple met on the set of Edward Scissorhands and dated until 1993. As dad Michael Horowitz pointed out, the two were the hottest couple of the day. “They were the hottest couple in the US at that time, like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are now. They were cool.” Horowitz stood in the way of their marriage due to the age of the two. Things have worked out for Johnny in the meantime. He is currently in a long-term relationship with French actress Vanessa Paradis and Ryder has been linked to Matt Damon in the past.

Affleck Joins the “Into You” cast…

Upcoming movie “He’s Just Not That Into You” has added actor Ben Affleck to it’s all star cast. The Daredevil star joins some the biggest and hottest names in film today including Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Anniston, and Scarlett Johansson. Affleck will be playing Jennifer Anniston’s non-committmental boyfriend in the film. County movie legend Kris Kristofferson plays Jennifers father. Affleck will be premiering his directorial debut film “Gone, Baby, Gone” at the Deauville Festival of American Film in September. The movie stars younger brother Casey as well as Morgan Freeman and Ed Harris.

The awards and recognition are coming in for Keira Knightly these days. She was honored during Fox’s Teen Choice Awards 2007. Keira took home the Choice Movie Actress Award for an Action Adventure movie for her role in Pirates of the Carribean: At World’s End. Her co-stars Johnny Depp and Bill Nighy were also honored. Knightley was also honored as this week’s Maxim Hot 100 girl. Not a bad week for the girl who really got noticed for her role in Bend it Like Beckham.

Owen Wilson attempts suicide over the weekend

Police have confirmed that they visited the Santa Monica home of Owen Wilson over the weekend due to the actor’s suicide attempt. Officials at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA refused to release updated information but it was stated that the actor is in “good condition”. The actor’s publicist refused comment. Speculation about the reasons for Wilson’s apparent suicide attempt include a quarrel with a close friend and the recent breakup with Kate Hudson. Owen was found by younger brother Luke and called 911. Here’s hoping the Wedding Crasher star not only recovers but is able to get things back on track.
