Many, even most actors pick roles in their careers for financial benefit. Some may call it “selling out” and some may call it “smart”. One man who hasn’t strayed away from his choices and his path has been our very own Captain Jack Sparrow - Johnny Depp.
From movies like Pirate of the Caribbean, Blow, Leaving Las Vegas, and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Johnny Depp has consistently picked movies that intrigued him on an artistic level and not financial. For this reason Johnny Depp deserves much respect from fellow actors. He’s very diversified and talented. The only thing I haven’t like from him was Cry-Baby…a late 80’s movie about a singer who uses suave on the ladies. That movie was probably just him needing some cash…hopefully!
