Haley Joel Osmont was a well-known child star. He had promising potential. The thing is that most child stars don’t make it as they get older. Do you think he will?

I am not sure he will or not. I haven’t really heard anything about him from 2001, when he was in Artificial Intelligence. I know that he has a movie in post production right now so stay tuned to see if that actually makes it to theatres. It really is too bad when child stars fall. Is it them or do companies just not want a face that was famous as a child? I really only thought that the curse of the childhood actor worked on TV shows/sitcoms…but maybe it’s true in all of Hollywood.

Haley Joel Osment (born April 10, 1988) is an Academy Award-nominated American actor. After a series of roles in television and film during the early 1990s, Osment came to fame with his starring role in the 1999 thriller, The Sixth Sense. He subsequently had leading roles in several high-profile Hollywood films, including Pay It Forward and A.I., with his most recent being 2003’s Secondhand Lions.
